Empty chairs
On the 16th of March 2020 the Netherlands went into a lockdown. Just like in many other countries around the world, society at large closed its doors. That included the doors and the windows of the Red Light district in Amsterdam as well. Normally, this is a crowded area. Tourists, football hooligans and teenagers are strolling around mostly staring at the ladies. But now the streets were empty and so were the windows. The empty chairs were the ones that were staring back at us, not the other way around.
